The Ningbo Olympic Sports Center Project is a major livelihood project in Ningbo. The first phase of the gymnasium, swimming pool and comprehensive training hall is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2017. The function of the project is oriented to the public, fully satisfying the growing sports culture and physical fitness needs of the people. On this basis, it has the basic functions of undertaking large-scale events and comprehensive training. After completion, the Olympic Sports Center will further improve the urban service function. It is a large-scale comprehensive sports center integrating sports events, professional training, national fitness, cultural activities and sports exhibitions, international sports exchanges, and sports-themed leisure and business.




The construction area of the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center is about 54.78 hectares. The construction content is “a three-in-one center”, which consists of a stadium, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, a comprehensive training hall and an international sports exchange center. Phase I of the project: The construction of the gymnasium, swimming pool and comprehensive training hall will be completed first. The total construction area of the first phase will be about 203,000 square meters. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.
